ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jade was born in Eastern KY and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She’s a proud wife and mother of two. Jade's hobbies include reading, beekeeping, line dancing, fishing, and gardening. She loves nature photography, featured throughout the pages of House Money.

Jade has had a lifelong love for writing. She graduated Cum Laude from The University of Georgia with her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in English. Her emphasis of study in telecommunications and screenwriting has enabled Jade to create many passion projects. House Money is her first polished piece shared with family and friends. 

In October of 2023 Jade was hospitalized for 93 days – a nearly life ending and certainly life altering experience that left her changed.

She invites you to read her compilation of poems, quotes and prose - written to her children in the aftermath of her illness - as part of her journey to heal her scarred heart.
